On January 17, 2023, the President of the Republic of Belarus Aleksander Grigoryevich Lukashenko authorised the appointment of Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich as the Rector of Brest State Technical University.
On January 31, 2023, Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Aleksander Vladimirovich Kadlubay introduced Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich to the personnel of Brest State Technical University.
Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich is a Ph.D. in Economics, associate professor; he graduated from Belarusian State Technological University, later from the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus. He was a scholarship holder of the Presidential Fund for Talented Young Scientists, was awarded the badge «Excellence in Education».
From 2000 to 2016, he worked at Belarusian State Technological University as a teacher, Head of the department, Dean of the faculty, Vice-rector for academic work of BSTU. From 2016 to 2023 he was Head of the Department of Higher Education, Head of the Main Department of Vocational Education at the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus.
