On March 1-3, Novopolotsk hosts the Republican festival “Novopolotsk, the Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus – 2023” and the forum “Belarus. Youth. Creation».
Among the participants in major events are the chairmen of students` trade union committees of higher education institutions, secretaries of primary organizations of the public organization «Belarusian Republican Youth Union» at universities, members of the Young Scientists Council under the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus, young ambassadors of the Sustainable Development Goals, the Council of Working Youth, chairmen of youth parliaments at regional (Minsk city) Councils of Deputies, leaders of the youth branch of the public organization «Belarusian Women`s Union», specialists for youth affairs in companies.
The forum is attended by a delegation of the Brest State Technical University headed by Vice-Rector for Educational Affairs Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya. Youth student associations and organizations of the university are represented by Kristina Belomesova, Daria Gurbich, Anna Zhivula, Diana Melnikova and Elena Kisel.
A bright program has been prepared for the participants, which began with the national flash mob “Year of Peace and Creation”. As part of the Republican forum “Belarus. Youth. Creation” various platforms were organized where topical issues of youth policy were discussed. A republican alignment meeting «Organization of work with student youth under conditions of the amended and updated legislative and regulatory legal acts» was held. The cultural program includes an interactive quest, an intellectual quiz, a karaoke battle.
On March 2, a solemn mass meeting and laying flowers at the Zvezda memorial took place, as well as an exhibition-presentation «Novopolotsk, a city of opportunities for young people», a solemn opening ceremony of the republican festival «Youth Capital of the Republic of Belarus — 2023» and the Republican forum «Belarus. Youth. Creation” in the presence of the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrey Ivanovich Ivanets, meetings and dialogue platforms.
The program of events includes a youth flash mob «Youth Capital» and an excursion program.
