On March 29, 2023, a meeting between the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich and the students from the People’s Republic of China took place.
Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich thanked the foreign citizens for choosing our university, and also noted the importance of long-term cooperation with the Hohhot Professional Institute in the framework of the joint educational program under the 3 + 3 scheme, which turns 15 years old this year. During this period, the university has trained highly skilled professionals who successfully fulfill their potential in various areas of the rapidly developing economy of the PRC. At present, young people from Hohhot (Inner Mongolia) are studying at the Faculty of Economics, the Faculty of Civil Engineering and the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
The event was moderated by the Head of the International Department Vitaly Anatolyevich Khaletsky. The meeting was attended by a representative of the university in the Chinese community at BrSTU, a teacher of the Department of Belarusian and Russian languages Oksana Viktorovna Shcherba, who introduced the Rector to the student activists and noted the main areas of activity of the Chinese community. The inviting atmosphere of the meeting encouraged the students and curators to ask the Head of the university their questions, which were exhaustively answered.
At the end of the meeting, the students presented the Rector a memorable gift — the book “Brest — Bayannur. Far and Near Homeand”, written by the BrSTU graduate Shan Junda. A group photograph was also taken.
