On the initiative of the Ministry of Forestry of the Republic of Belarus, for the 16th time, from April 1 to April 8, 2023, the voluntary action «Forest Week-2023» is being held in the Brest region.
The main purpose of the action is to popularize the careful attitude to one of the main natural resources of the country, strengthening the ecological, economic and social role of forests.
In 2023, the action is dedicated to the Year of Peace and Creation and the restoration of forests.
Employees and students of the Faculty of Economics and the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology made their contribution to the preservation and enhancement of forests by planting more than 1,000 young pine seedlings.
