In the period from June 14 to June 16, 2023, the Days of Belarusian Education were held in the capital of the Republic of Kazakhstan, Astana. The event was attended by the Brest State Technical University, which was represented by the leading officer of the International Department Yulia Sergeevna Dragun.
As part of the event, a round table was held at the Embassy of the Republic of Belarus in the Republic of Kazakhstan with representatives of the Ministry of Enlightenment and the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Republic of Kazakhstan, as well as with the authorities of leading institutions of higher education in Kazakhstan on the development of inter-university cooperation, the implementation of joint educational programs, academic exchange. The presentation of BrSTU showed the potential of the university in the field of education and science. The Kazakh side noted the already existing fruitful cooperation with Belarusian universities and expressed its willingness to expand cooperation in the field of science, academic exchange, internship programs and advanced training for the academic teaching staff.
During the opening of the thematic collective exposition of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus «Education in Belarus», Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Belarus to the Republic of Kazakhstan Pavel Vladimirovich Utyupin expressed hope for the expansion of Belarusian-Kazakh cooperation in the field of science and culture. The Head of the Department of Science and Innovation Activities of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Petr Nikolayevich Pekutko emphasized the high quality of Belarusian education, its significant potential for the educational market in Kazakhstan.
During the exhibition, applicants could get acquainted with the educational programs of BrSTU, the conditions for entering the university, and received answers to their questions about the specialties of the university. Parents of foreign citizens received comprehensive information about the particularities of entry into the Republic of Belarus, the conditions of stay and residence in the dormitories of BrSTU.
