The VI International Scientific and Practical Conference ICEP – 2023 “Current scientific, technical and environmental problems of habitat conservation”, dedicated to the memory of Associate Professor of the Department of Environmental Management, Candidate of Geographical Sciences, Associate Professor Irina Nikolaevna Shpok, has ended (October 16–17, 2023).
The main goal of the conference was to summarize the interim results of the creative cooperation of scientists and practitioners from the post-Soviet states in the field of topical problems of preserving the human environment. Representatives of higher educational institutions and scientific institutions discussed issues related to deepening cooperation in the development of transboundary environmental projects relevant to neighboring countries, protection of specially protected natural areas, water use and consumption, energy and resource conservation.
The plenary session of the conference was held at the Historical and Memorial Museum «Nemtsevich Estate», which is a branch of the Department of Environmental Management.
