From 19 to 21 October 2023, the 28th Azerbaijan International Construction Exhibition – BakuBuild – is taking place in Baku. The main innovative developments of the Brest State Technical University, among the scientific and technical developments of the National Exposition of the Republic of Belarus, are presented by the Vice-Rector for Scientific Work of BrSTU Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta.
Among the exhibits of the Brest State Technical University are the metal constructions of BrSTU system, which differ from known solutions in the design of the unit and the rod. The main advantages are: architectural expressiveness and attractiveness of structures, high load-bearing capacity, high industrial qualities of all elements, their complete factory readiness, the possibility of their wide unification for buildings with different spans, loads, support patterns, efficiency in steel spread, labor costs and reduction of construction time.
Also presented at the exhibition is a new constructive solution for a reinforced concrete floor slab, which is a reinforced flat monolithic slab containing in its thickness cavities formed by void formers, the main purpose of which is to reduce the material consumption of the structure. The plastic hollow sealed bodies of rotation (ball, ellipsoid, etc.) made from recycled plastic waste act as void formers. It is possible to assemble reinforcement blocks with void formers in the factory, as well as to install them individually directly on the construction site.
Visitors to the exhibition are also presented an effective high-quality concrete for the repair and installation of floor coverings and road surfaces — a new innovative composition of concrete based on prestressing cement with unique high physical and mechanical characteristics designed for particularly difficult operating conditions. The main advantage of such concrete is its high tensile strength.
BakuBuild is the largest construction event in the CIS and Eastern Europe, which has been organized for more than 20 years. This is a platform for studying the construction industry market. The exhibition includes such sections as building materials; roofing and insulation; interior; finishing materials, design; paints, varnishes and coatings; landscape architecture; facades, windows, doors; construction equipment and technologies, etc.
