Confirmation of the development of Belarusian-Chinese relations in the field of education, science and culture was the signing of a Memorandum of Cooperation between the Shandong Institute of Business and Technology (People’s Republic of China) and the Brest State Technical University, held on October 24, 2023 in a video conference format.
Shandong Institute of Business and Technology (STBU) was founded in 1985 as China Coal Economic College, and received its modern name in February 2003. Today STBU has 17 faculties, 31 undergraduate programs, more than 18,600 students.
During the meeting between the Rector of BrSTU Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich and the Rector of the Shandong Institute of Business and Technology Wang Minfa, prospects for cooperation were discussed. Thus, BrSTU will serve as a practice base for Chinese students mastering a higher education program in the field of digital engineering and information technology. It is also planned to create joint educational programs and academic exchange programs.
