On October 23, as part of the Belarusian Entrepreneurship Week, with the support of the Ministry of Economy, the Belarusian Fund for Financial Support of Entrepreneurs and Business Unions, a panel discussion “Entrepreneurship Development in Belarus” was held, in which the chairman of the NGO “Union of Entrepreneurs of the Brest Region” Vitaly Eduardovich Lisetsky, director of the public association Dvorak Olga Vladimirovna, teachers and students of the Faculty of Economics of BrSTU took part.
The main issues of the meeting were the historical development of entrepreneurship in the Brest region and the Republic of Belarus, the interaction of business unions in the new world economic system, the prospects for the development of entrepreneurship in the context of changes in tax legislation, increasing awareness of business entities about the ongoing work on regional development, state financial support for entrepreneurship. Students, in addition to traditional issues of organizing a business, were interested in business conditions, pricing, opening costs, the procedure for obtaining permits, government support for entrepreneurial projects, and issues of creating a favorable business environment.
As Vitaly Eduardovich Lisetsky noted, the Belarusian Entrepreneurship Week is the most significant and large-scale dialogue platform for discussing identified problems and development strategies, aimed at strengthening the potential of small and medium-sized businesses in Belarus and the regions.
In the conversation, Olga Vladimirovna Dvorak emphasized that the public association was created to help the business sector of the economy in the Brest region, it represents the interests of entrepreneurs and advises on various issues. In addition, this is a platform where you can discuss ideas and find like-minded people.
