On October 27, 2023, the traditional event “JOB FAIR 2023” was held at the Faculty of Electronics and Information Systems of Brest State Technical University. As part of the Fair, students and undergraduates were able to meet with potential employers of personnel from the Brest region. The event was held with the aim of promoting employment for future graduates, getting acquainted with organizations/enterprises, reducing the period of job search, consulting specialists from the employer’s personnel services, and the opportunity to undergo a preliminary interview on employment issues.
The main organizations participating in the Fair were enterprises and organizations in various fields of activity — Epol Soft LLC, Success LLC, YUKOLA-INFO-Brest ODO, Tinkoff Bank JSC, Tsvetotron OJSC, Savushkin Product OJSC, Arlight and K LLC.
The format of the meeting included a panel discussion and interactive events. Representatives of the employers were able to speak to the students, talking about the main activities of their organizations/enterprises and the requirements for potential candidates, as well as possible employment strategies. Students, in turn, were able to ask questions that interested them about the current state of the labor market, the necessary competencies and working conditions.
