Youth entrepreneurship is one of the most promising areas for the development of the economy of the country, which is actually the potential for its growth. As part of Entrepreneurship Week at the Faculty of Economics of Brest State Technical University, its role and significance were actively discussed with graduates running their own businesses and current students.
Dean of the Faculty Victoria Vasilievna Zazerskaya noted that the state is consistently creating conditions for enhancing entrepreneurial initiative and is interested in the contribution of small and medium-sized enterprises to the development of the country’s economy growing dynamically. At BrSTU, active work is being carried out aimed at implementing scientific research developments into production, developing in students the competencies and skills necessary for conducting inventive, innovative, and entrepreneurial activities.
The faculty organizes various competitions, excursions, meetups, quests, tournaments, exhibitions, fairs of business ideas, educational seminars and trainings. Specialists from banks and organizations, employees of financial organizations and government agencies, as well as graduates actively participate in this work.
A clear confirmation of this was the speech of the students Daria Vysotskaya and Nikita Kostyuchik, who spoke about their experience in the field of HR management and distribution, skills and ability to cope in stressful situations. Mikhail Rebenkov and Anna Bukach taught new strategies and methods of business development, told how to find like-minded people and partners to scale their projects, as well as strengthen professional connections and personal, human contacts.
Thanks to the trusting atmosphere prevailing at the meeting, current and pressing problems were discussed, their solving is possible due to the solidarity position of young people and their unique role in youth entrepreneurship.
