On November 17, the Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology of BrSTU hosted Student Self-governance Day. The program included alternates for faculty leaders and teachers, individual and team competitions, the purpose of which was to create conditions conducive to self-realization of students in the professional and creative sphere and solving issues in various areas of student life. Students were able to feel involved in the results of common activities and try themselves in various social roles and situations.
Student self-governance creates new opportunities for individual self-determination, the emergence of youth innovations in various spheres of society, and also helps organize the lives of students in such a way that everyone feels involved in the results of common activities and can try themselves in various social roles and situations. This is one of the forms of educational and ideological work at BrSTU, aimed at the formation of a well-rounded, spiritual, moral, creative personality of university students.
