On November 16, the international scientific and practical conference “Current Problems of Modern Economic Systems — 2023” was held at the Brest State Technical University on the basis of the Department of World Economy, Marketing, Investments.
The conference was attended by scientists and specialists from the Academy of Management under the President of the Republic of Belarus, Polesie State University, Belarusian State University of Informatics and Radioelectronics, Belarusian State Economic University, Brest Regional Institute for Educational Development, representatives of higher educational institutions of Russia and specialists from the real sector of the economy, as well as first-year students of the Faculty of Economics of BrSTU, who are medalists and winners of subject Olympiads.
The purpose of the conference was to discuss trends in the development of the world economy, the Republic of Belarus in the world economy; improving economic activity, developing small and medium-sized businesses; digitalization and information security problems; development of a “green” economy.
The speakers touched on the current state of the global economy, digitalization of the world economy, state innovation policy, and prospects for economic development in the Republic of Belarus. Scientists and specialists from different universities presented more than 60 reports, each of which gave a new look at familiar things and gave rise to discussions.
