On November 17, at the Brest State Technical University, as part of the implementation of the project “Strategies for State Youth Policy in the Republic of Belarus until 2030,” a dialogue platform “Youth as the strategic and human capacity of Belarus” was held.
The speakers presented a presentation on the social and demographic characteristics of modern youth, which served as a kind of cross-section of one of the groups of Belarusian society. Varvara Vasilchuk and Eva Loskutova, first-year students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BrSTU, also spoke to the audience with a report on the topic “Rights and responsibilities of students of higher educational institutions in the Republic of Belarus,” drawing attention to the issues of timely completion by students of all types of work provided for by the internship program.
The event showed that engaged and talented young people are the main strategic potential and a reliable foundation for the development of our republic, meant to ensure a decent future for the society and the state.
