As part of the First Forum of Rectors of Higher Education Institutions of the Republic of Belarus and the People’s Republic of China, a meeting of the section “Distance learning and joint educational programs” was held at the site of the Belarusian National Technical University. Rector of the Brest State Technical University Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich made a report “Models for the implementation of Belarusian-Chinese joint educational programs: current status and prospects (using the example of BrSTU).”
Interaction with educational and scientific organizations of the People’s Republic of China is considered one of the priorities of the university’s international activities. In his speech, the Rector presented the experience of implementing educational programs at BrSTU jointly with Xinxiang University and the Hohhot Vocational Institute, joint scientific projects of the university with leading scientific centers of China, as well as such forms of interaction as summer schools and advanced training programs for teaching staff of technical colleges of People’s Republic of China. Currently, a joint educational program of general higher education in the specialty “Electronic Economics” is being developed within the framework of a recently signed cooperation agreement with the Hebei Institute of International Business and Economics.
