On November 23-24, at the Brest State Technical University and the Russian Center for Science and Culture in Brest, with the support of the “Russian Society” Republican branch, the II international scientific and practical meta-subject conference “Ethnicities and destinies in the life and work of F.I. Tyutchev: on the 220th anniversary of the poet`s birth”, which was attended by professors, associate professors, graduate and undergraduate students, college teachers, teachers and school principals of the Brest region, members of the “Russian Society” and librarians from Belarus, Russia and Kazakhstan, and the CIS countries.
The Rector of BrSTU, Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich, addressed the participants of the event with a welcoming speech.
The conference format included the possibility of speaking both online and in real time.
Scientists from different universities presented more than 50 reports in which they discussed the study of current problems related to sociocultural, anthropological, historical and philosophical, cultural, psychological, literary, linguistic and pedagogical aspects of understanding ethnic groups and destinies in the life and work of the poet and diplomat F.I.Tyutchev, with the study of his work at school, college and university, as well as with a multidimensional analysis of the life and creative heritage of the poet in modern society.
At the end of the event, each participant was presented with the monograph “Ethnicities and Destinies in the Life and Work of F.I. Tyutchev: on the 220th Anniversary of the Poet`s Birth.”
