The III Congress of Young Scientists opened in the Sirius Park of Science and Art in Sochi. The key theme of the event is “Space of Opportunity and Development”.
The Congress brings together representatives of leading scientific schools, scientific and educational organizations, authorities, industrial partners, business representatives, bright leaders of national science, as well as young scientists, winners of grant competitions, students and schoolchildren from Russia and other countries.
This year the Congress brought together over 4,500 participants from more than 25 countries, including the Republic of Belarus, China, Iran, the Republic of Cuba, South Africa, Kazakhstan and others. The business program of the Congress includes more than 100 events. It consists of five thematic tracks: “Great challenges — opportunities for development”; “Opportunities of the Decade of Science and Technology in Russia”; “The space of the country is a space of opportunities”; “Space of international scientific and technical cooperation”; «Development Tools».
Brest State Technical University is represented at the Congress by a member of the Council of Young Scientists of the university, Head of the Department of Economics and Organization of Construction, Yulia Sergeevna Dordyuk.
The Congress will continue until November 30 and will traditionally act as the largest platform for dialogue between advanced and fundamental science, government authorities and the real sector of the economy, and will also set the main vectors of scientific and technological development of the participating countries.
