«It all starts with love…»

At the Faculty of Economics of the Brest State Technical University, a regional student scientific and practical seminar “The Garden of Love and the Swallow of Spring…” was held, dedicated to the 75th anniversary of the birth of Evgenia Iosifovna Yanishchyts, Belarusian poetess, translator, laureate of the Lenin Komsomol Prize of Belarus, laureate of the State Prize Belarus named after Yanka Kupala.
The scientific event began with video presentations “Words by Nil Gilevich about Evgenia Yanishchyts” and “Evgenia Yanishchyts: known and unknown pages from life and work.” Then the audience was offered a video film “Immortal Star in the Sky of Belarus” by Vladimir Pavlovich Subat, laureate of the State Prize of Belarus, Honored Journalist of Belarus.
The conference was attended by teachers, students and undergraduates from both our educational institution and Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin. A total of 30 reports were read, which described the life and creative path of Evgenia Yanishchyts, the theme of love, the beauty of Polesie nature, the image of a mother, family values, folklore motifs, and the artistic perfection of the poetess’s lyrics was highlighted.
