On December 20, 2023, a New Year’s ball for the best students and pupils of the Brest region was held in the Kossovo palace and park complex. Brest State Technical University, headed by Rector Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, was represented by the students: Ivan Gaiko (Faculty of Mechanical Engineering), Diana Melnikova (Faculty of Economics), Olga Botova (Faculty of Engineering Systems and Ecology), Vladislav Tomashov (Faculty of Electronics and Information Systems), who accounted well for themselves in studies, sports and socially significant activities of the university in the outgoing year.
Deputy Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Vadim Vasilievich Kravchuk delivered a welcoming speech and warm wishes on the eve of the New Year holidays.
The main dance floor was the White Hall of the Kossovo Palace. The guests prepared themselves for the gala event for several weeks, where they flawlessly performed a polonaise, waltz, the lanciers, polka, and midnight quadrille.
In addition to bright emotions and vivid impressions from the ball, the young people also received New Year’s gifts.
