On New Year’s Eve, according to a good tradition, students of the Faculty of Economics gave a holiday, smiles and good mood to the children from the orphanage Divin.
For more than 15 years, students have been holding a charity event “Open your heart to children!” collecting gifts for pupils and trying to create a real holiday atmosphere for the children. Foreign students from the People’s Republic of China gladly joined the action, congratulated the children on the New Year and handed over gifts.
The trade union committee of BrSTU students did not stand aside either — they handed over a certificate to the Divinsky Orphanage to strengthen its material and technical resources.
Tatyana Nikolaevna Sakadyn, director of the orphan boarding school, expressed gratitude to all BrSTU students who participated in the charity event: “When children feel that they are cared for, that they are loved and appreciated, they become more self-confident, kinder, and more sensitive to others. All this helps the children choose the right path in life and become worthy people.”
The highlight of this day was the theatrical performance presented to the guests by the orphanage pupils.
