On December 21, 2023, the closing ceremony of the third labor semester 2023 of Brest State Technical University took place.
Among the honored guests at the event were representatives of partner enterprises: Chernavchitsy OJSC, Polesiezhilstroy OJSC, Savushkin Product OJSC, Construction Trust No. 8 OJSC, SMU No. 1 Municipal unitary enterprise Brestzhilstroy, Dorstroymontazhtrest OJSC, Ostromechevo OJSC.
A total of 571 participants in 40 student teams worked at facilities in the Brest region and beyond. Vice-Rector for Educational Work of BrSTU Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya, addressing the participants of the event, noted that the construction brigade movement is a glorious chronicle, already inscribed in the history of Brest State Technical University. Also, Natalya Petrovna, on behalf of the Rector of the university, Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, conveyed words of gratitude to the partners who help in organizing secondary employment for young people and willingly pass on their accumulated knowledge, skills and experience.
The student construction team “Monolith” named after Hero of the Soviet Union P. Klimuk took part in the all-Belarusian youth construction project “City of Youth 2023” in Ostrovets. Students of our university had the opportunity to work on the construction of the Republican Center for Patriotic Education of Youth on the territory of the Kobrin fortification of the Brest Fortress. This construction project was given the status of an All-Belarusian Youth Construction Site by Decree of the President of the Republic of Belarus. Student construction team «Spadchyna-2023» named after Hero of the Soviet Union P.M. Masherov conscientiously carried out dismantling and construction work.
The construction site of a kindergarten for 350 children in the South-Western microdistrict No. 5 this year was declared a youth construction site in the Brest region. Two student construction teams “Spadchyna” named after Hero of the Soviet Union P. Masherov and “Comet” named after Hero of the Soviet Union M. Osipova represented BrSTU.
In the summer-autumn period, four production student teams, formed from among students of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, took part in the Republican projects “Avtozovodets-2023” and “Polesie-2023” — the “Energy” team named after Hero of the Soviet Union P. Pronyagin, the “Alpha” team named Hero of the Soviet Union V. Kirmanovich and the “Omega“ team named after Hero of the Soviet Union M. Myasnikov worked conscientiously in the workshops of Minsk Automobile Plant OJSC.
Members of the «Legion» students` team named after Hero of the Soviet Union K. Rokossovsky properly represented BrSTU in the open joint-stock company «Gomselmash».
Based on the results of the third working semester, the best commanders of students` teams, Bogdan Darchic, Mikhail Selvesyuk, Mikhail Yarmak, Andrey Romanchuk, Arina Shimanskaya, Semyon Lyulkovich, Egor Bekish, Roman Pulyashko, Mikhail Yanchuk, Artem Shetsko, Petr Sychik, Pavel Labud were awarded diplomas for their conscientious attitude to work and high-quality leadership of the student movement.
For a responsible attitude to work and exemplary labor discipline while working in a students` team, Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Mikhail Vladimirovich Neroda presented diplomas to commissars Daniil Kuzmenko, Sofya Khryskova, Yuri Demyanik, Vladimir Volk, Ivan Kuzko, Mikhail Bantsekin, Oleg Zubarev, Yana Burnos and the best fighters of student groups Alexey Korkash, Veronika Sivena, Anna Cherenovich, Nikita Apanaschik, Mikhail Potseluiko, Mikhail Karpuk, Grigory Gritsuk. The best participants in students` teams were awarded certificates and letters of appreciation from partner organizations.
