On December 21–22, 2023, the XVII International Student Scientific Forum “Student Scientific Winter in Brest-2023” was held at the Faculty of Economics of Brest State Technical University.
The forum was attended by more than 100 students from Belarus, Russia, the Republic of Uzbekistan and China, as well as 20 students from the Faculty of Economics of Brest State Technical University.
Opening the international student forum, BrSTU Rector Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich emphasized that the main goal of such events is to sum up the annual results of students’ research work, exchange ideas and demonstrate knowledge in the field of economics.
Within the framework of the forum, the work of sections was organized in two directions: “Improving the development of accounting, analysis and control in modern conditions”, “Digital economy: trends and prospects”, as well as “Current directions for the development of the financial and credit sector of the economy”. For the first time this year, the section “Development of the customs sector” was held. The chief inspector of the Ideological Work department of the Brest customs, Lesak Alexander Gennadievich, in his welcoming speech, noted the importance of such events in the training of highly qualified personnel for sectors of the economy, including for customs authorities.
At the event, participants in a new way, from the perspective of the development of new digital technologies, presented important and ambitious issues in the theory and practice of the researched areas of knowledge and professional activity.
