On January 9, 2024, in the assembly hall of the Brest State Technical University, a conference of voters of the BrSTU labor collective was held to nominate candidates for the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus of the eighth convocation and local Councils of Deputies of the twenty-ninth convocation.
The conference was chaired by the Rector of the university, Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich.
Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya in her opening speech presented information about the upcoming Unified Voting Day, spoke about the particularities of the elections, the procedure for nominating candidates, paying special attention to the innovations of the current election campaign.
According to the results of the conference of voters of the BrSTU labor collective, the Head of the Media and Information Department, Natalya Semyonovna Vinnik, was by common consent nominated as a candidate for deputy of the Brest City Council of Deputies.
