On January 18, 2024, as part of the Unified information day, a meeting was held between teachers, employees and students of the Brest State Technical University with the Head of the Department of Surgery and Transplantation of the Brest Regional Clinical Hospital, Andrei Mikhailovich Shestyuk.
Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya, Vice-Rector for Educational Work, Deputy Chairman of the Moscow district organization of the RPO «Belaya Rus» in Brest, addressed those present with an opening speech.
The main topic of Andrei Mikhailovich’s speech was improving the quality and accessibility of medical care to the population of the Brest region.
In his speech, the Head of the Department spoke about the activities carried out by the Brest Regional Clinical Hospital to improve the quality of medical services, material and technical base, and working conditions. Particular attention was paid to providing medical care to the population, as well as equipping the medical institution with modern equipment. Andrei Mikhailovich shared information about the treatment and diagnostic departments, which makes it possible to conduct complex diagnostic studies and perform unique operations, not inferior to global standards.
The second part of the Unified information day was devoted to the election campaign. Natalya Petrovna spoke about the course of the election campaign, its stages, innovations and features. She dwelled in more detail on the issues of organizing its implementation. At the end of her speech, Natalya Petrovna emphasized that it is necessary to realize the importance of the upcoming social and political event and the formation of Parliament and local government bodies based on its results.
