February 14, 2024 at Brest State University named after A.S. Pushkin started a course of lectures “Spatial planning and development”, which is read by Nina Vasilievna Danilina, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Associate Professor, Corresponding Member of the Russian Academy of Architecture and Construction Sciences, Head of the Department of Urban Planning at the National Research Moscow State Construction University.
The listeners are 1st and 2nd year students of the specialty “Urbanology and City Management” of BrGU named after A.S. Pushkin, as well as 4th year students of the specialties “Architecture” and “Architectural Design” of Brest State Technical University. The training is organized within the framework of a recently concluded cooperation and networking agreement between universities.
The first two lectures were held online and were devoted to the concept of sustainable development, the history of its formation and fundamental principles, as well as modern global challenges and problems of sustainable urban development.
On February 19, the offline format of lectures began. Students have the opportunity to personally communicate with the experienced specialist and immerse themselves in the world of urban planning, learn about modern trends and approaches in this area.
