At the Brest State Technical University, an open conversation took place between the Rector Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich and students and employees. The meeting was held in a positive spirit, the agenda included issues of both global and private content.
Sergei Antonovich began his speech with the Unified Voting Day, its importance in the life of the country and the significance of the conscious choice of each of us. Choice is a responsibility, an act that characterizes a person and on which not only the future, but also the present depends. The Rector of the university provided detailed information about the voting procedure for students, including those living in dormitories. A number of issues related to early voting, the number of ballots, additional conditions for voting, etc. were discussed.
Sergei Antonovich noted the fact that young people are not indifferent to social problems and he is pleased with the active participation of young people in the electoral process. Young people strive to change the world for the better and contribute to the development of society and the state. The Rector called on students to make an informed choice, because the future of not only the country, but also themselves depends on it.
The second part of the meeting was devoted to the activities and development of the university. Sergei Antonovich presented the students with a road map, which included a strategic plan for the development of the university, work with gifted and talented youth, opportunities for developing professional competencies and increasing the prestige of qualified personnel. During the conversation, numerous issues affecting social and public life, university management, everyday life, living in dormitories, etc. were discussed. The students were also interested in the personal guidelines of the Rector. They shared their suggestions and initiatives.
The Rector motivated young people to actively participate in the discussion, since communication can generate new questions and new knowledge. It should be noted that such meetings contribute to barrier-free communication between youth and the leadership of BrSTU.
