On February 23, on the Day of Defenders of the Fatherland and the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus, at the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems a meeting of students was held with Lieutenant Colonel Yurkevich Denis Tarasovich, Deputy Head of the Main Information and Computing Center of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Belarus — system architect of the automated control system. Denis Tarasovich spoke about the main areas of application of digital technologies in the field of protecting national security, the growing demand for IT specialists in the Armed Forces. In the dialogue with students, questions were raised about the necessary requirements for employment at the Center and career prospects. At the end of the meeting, Denis Tarasovich and the Dean of the faculty Andrey Nikolaevich Parfievich expressed their readiness to cooperate in the implementation of joint scientific and educational projects.
