On November 11, the grand opening of a multifunctional sports ground took place on the territory of the Brest State Technical University.
The bright modern court consists of 3 zones: basketball, volleyball and football zone. It is intended for amateur, professional, individual and group outdoor sports. The opening ceremony of the sports facility was attended by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Andrei Ivanovich Ivanets, the Chairman of the Brest City Executive Committee Sergei Nikolaevich Lobodinsky, the Rector of BrSTU Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, the Deputy Head of the Main Department of Educational Work and Youth Policy, the Head of the Department of Social, Educational and Ideological Work of the Ministry of Education of the Republic Belarus Alexander Nikolaevich Matyushonok, Deputy Head of the Main Directorate for Education of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Irina Aleksandrovna Popova, Rector of the BrGU named after A.S. Pushkin Yuri Petrovich Golubev, Head of the Department of Ideological Work and Youth Affairs of the Brest City Executive Committee Ella Nikolaevna Dobrinets, Rectorate, employees and students of BrSTU.
The opening of a new multifunctional site is another important step in the development of the sports infrastructure of Brest State Technical University. For the university, it will be an excellent opportunity to diversify the leisure time of young people, help create a healthy lifestyle and unite the student community.
At the end of the event, the Head of the Ministry left memorable autographs on the balls with best wishes for the meeting participants.
