On November 13–14, the Faculty of Economics of BrSTU hosted the next solemn event “Initiation into Logistics — 2023”. First-year students examined, using practical examples, the features of the logistics system development, issuing passports, paying duties and fines, crossing the border, searching for cargo and passengers, areas for optimizing the organizational structure and developing the logistics business in general.
Students of groups L-21 and L-22 showed their knowledge in obtaining a fairly high profit and managed to reduce the costs of completing the quest, and the team that made the maximum profit with the minimum amount of time spent won.
The initiation ended with the logistician’s oath, which was taken by all first-year students.
The Head of the Department of Economic Theory and Logistics, Gulnara Borangalievna Medvedeva, gave some words of severance, noting the importance of acquiring a profession, acquiring quality knowledge, developing creative abilities, communication skills, mobility and analytical abilities.
The first-year students heard many words of congratulations and wishes from the graduating students, who demonstrated the importance of specialists in this field and wished the first-year students enthusiasm, ambitious goals and the implementation of all their projects.
