On December 8, 2023, in a solemn ceremony in the presence of the Chairman of the Brest Regional Executive Committee Yuri Vitoldovich Shuleiko and the Governor of the Irkutsk Region of the Russian Federation Igor Ivanovich Kobzev, agreements were signed between the Brest State Technical University, the Irkutsk National Research Technical University and the Irkutsk State Agrarian University named after A.A. Ezhevsky.
The agreements involve interaction in a number of areas, including the joint development of innovative methodological support for the educational process of undergraduate and graduate programs; academic exchange of faculty members and students; general projects both within the framework of financing from the Union State and the federal budget of the Russian Federation; joint projects that can be carried out on request of the business entities of both countries.
Also, during the meeting of the heads of regions of the two countries with the heads of educational institutions of Belarus and Russia, preliminary agreements were reached on the joint implementation of pilot research and applied projects in the Irkutsk region.
