On December 21, 2023, as part of the Unified Information Day, a meeting was held between teachers, employees and students of Brest State Technical University with Vladimir Veniaminovich Borovenko, Deputy General Director for Ideological Work, Social and General Issues of the Brestoblgaz Unitary Enterprise, Chairman of the organization of the ROO «Belaya Rus» of the Moscow district of Brest.
The main topic of the speech is political security as the basis of social and political stability of a sovereign state, the election campaign in new legal conditions.
At the meeting, Vladimir Veniaminovich spoke about the particularities of holding elections of deputies on the Unified Voting Day, voiced a number of innovations in the election campaign that are aimed at ensuring electoral sovereignty, focusing on the fact that during the preparation and holding of the Unified Voting Day an effective combination of legal, informational, precautionary measures to prevent riots and other illegal actions on the part of organized groups and individuals.
Vladimir Veniaminovich touched upon the system of forming election commissions for the election of deputies, explained who the subjects of nomination are, who will be members of the election commissions, and the requirements for candidates. The ways of nomination, registration of candidates, the procedure for verifying signatures, as well as the process of conducting early voting were announced.
