On January 11, 2024, a general meeting of curators of student groups of all faculties was held at Brest State Technical University. The Rector of the university, Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, delivered a welcoming speech to the teaching staff, noting the upcoming electoral cycle for the elections of deputies to the House of Representatives and local councils as the most important political campaign of 2024.
Vice-Rector for Educational Work Natalya Petrovna Yalovaya in her speech touched upon the main points of the electoral legislation, focusing on the need for teachers to timely convey information about the Single Voting Day to the student body.
The importance of the student group curator was emphasized, who is the link between the university leadership and students, on whom the patriotic education of our youth directly depends.
Natalya Petrovna noted that students are not the future of our country, they are its present. And it is on young people that political stability and the confident development of our state depend.
