On February 15, in the assembly hall of the Brest State Technical University, a meeting of students and teachers of the Faculty of Economics was held, dedicated to the Unified Information Day and the upcoming Unified Voting Day.
The Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Victoria Vasilievna Zazerskaya, and the Head of the Young Voter Headquarters, Natalya Aleksandrovna Borsuk, conveyed information to young voters about the Unified Voting Day 2024 and the importance of taking part in this significant event for the country.
Students were familiarized with the features of the electoral process on Unified Voting Day, as well as with the responsibilities of deputies, on whose activities the further development of the country depends. Students were reminded of the changes and additions to the Electoral Code, which provide for compliance with innovations when visiting polling stations.
Senior investigator of the group for combating cybercrime of the Brest District Department of Internal Affairs, Yuri Vladimirovich Prokhorov, raised the topic of information security, spoke about the types of crimes committed on the Internet and social networks, precautions and ways to protect themselves from cybercrimes, and reminded students about responsible behavior when using social networks.
During the event, students received answers to their questions.
