A delegation headed by the Minister of Education of the Republic of Zimbabwe visited BrSTU

From May 8 to May 18, a delegation of educational institutions and organizations of the Republic of Zimbabwe, headed by the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe Prof. Amon Murvira, is visiting the Republic of Belarus.
The delegation includes heads of departments of the Ministry of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe, heads of the National Geospatial and Space Agency, the Center for Education, Innovation, Research and Development, heads and lecturers of universities and colleges of the Republic of Zimbabwe.
On May 15, within the framework of the program of stay, the delegation of the Republic of Zimbabwe visited the Brest State Technical University.
Members of the delegation of educational institutions and organizations of the Republic of Zimbabwe got acquainted with the activities of the university, its material and technical base, visited educational, research and applied-research laboratories, met with foreign students. Rector of the University Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich told the guests about the experience of BrSTU in organizing the educational process, about the use of new technologies in the instruction of students, about cooperation with international partners. During the press conference, areas of cooperation between BrSTU and higher educational institutions of the Republic of Zimbabwe were discussed. As Kasperovich S.A. noted, interaction in the educational sphere is possible within the framework of joint educational programs, training of personnel in master`s and postgraduate studies programs. Cooperation in the scientific field is possible through the academic exchange of lecturers, joint developments in digital engineering and issues of creating various engineering systems.
The agreements signed during the meeting in the presence of the First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Gennadyevich Bakhanovich and the Minister of Higher and Tertiary Education, Science and Technology Development of the Republic of Zimbabwe Amon Murvira became the basis for further fruitful cooperation. Brest State Technical University will develop cooperation with the Harare Institute of Technology, Chinhoyi University of Technology, Lupane State University, Midlands State University and the University of Zimbabwe.
