The memorial complex «Brest Hero Fortress» hosted a requiem meeting «Be Worthy of the Memory of the Fallen», dedicated to the Day of National Remembrance of the victims of the Great Patriotic War and the genocide of the Belarusian people. The mournful event was followed by the war-historical reenactment of key events in the defense of the Brest Fortress in June and July 1941.
The events dedicated to the 82nd anniversary of the beginning of the Great Patriotic War were attended by a delegation of rectors of higher educational institutions of the Republic of Belarus, as well as the administrative authorities and students of the Brest State Technical University, headed by Rector Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich.
