In the summer period, Brest State Technical University has already employed 335 people as part of 22 students` teams of various fields of activity.
The construction of a kindergarten for 350 places in the South-Western housing estate No. 5 of Brest was declared a regional youth construction project – 2023 according to the decision of the Brest Regional Executive Committee. Along with the builders, the student construction team «Spadchyna» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union P.M.Masherov works here. The guys have been working for the benefit of the region and the country for several years now. The members of the team, headed by the student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering of BrSTU Lyulkovich Semyon, were directly involved in the reconstruction of the Khatyn Memorial Complex and are the winners of the republican competition Labor Semester-2022.
Within the framework of the Republican industrial labor project «Avtozavodets» in Minsk, at the facilities of OJSC «Minsk Automobile Plant» – the «BELAVTOMAZ» holding managing company, the production student team «Energy» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union P.V. Pronyagin is working, headed by Darchich Bogdan Sergeevich.
Another BrSTU production team «Legion» named after the Double Hero of the Soviet Union K.K. Rokossovsky, headed by Andrey Romanchuk, is a participant in the Republican interdisciplinary labor project «GOMSELMASH — 2023».
Improvement of the territory of the alma mater, including academic buildings and dormitories, is also not complete without the participation of students` teams. The students` construction team «Mason» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union I.M. Kobzun is working on the conversion of a warehouse into a training ground. The team is headed by Yegor Tereshko, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. The construction team «Prometheus» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union A.I. Melnikov, headed by Kirill Nesteruk, a student of the Faculty of Civil Engineering, is working on the re-equipment of the sports grounds of BrSTU.
The students` construction team «Installer» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union N.F.Turtsevich, commanded by Mikhail Yanchuk, works at the Brest plant of reinforced concrete structures and building parts of JSC «Dorstroymontazhtrest».
The improvement of the city territory together with the Brestzhilstroy Municipal Unitary Enterprise is carried out by the «Stroitel” team named after the Hero of the Soviet Union S.A. Pashkevich, commanded by Maksim Petrovich Shevtsov, and the «Crystal” construction team named after the Hero of the Soviet Union P.I. Zhdanov, headed by Pulyashko Roman Andreevich. Painting and finishing works on the territory of the city, together with OJSC «Construction Trust No. 8», are carried out by the construction team «Kometa» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union M.B. Osipova, commanded by Shimanskaya Arina Sergeevna. It is worth noting that all the members of this team are girls, students of the Faculty of Civil Engineering. Also at the disposal of OJSC «Construction Trust No. 8» is the construction team «Monolith» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union E.V. Vasilevsky, headed by Bublikov Vyacheslav.
The production team «Maximum» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union A.G. Teleshev, the construction team «Omega» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union I.K. Zakharov, the construction team «Perspective» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union I. I.Dyakova, construction team «Alpha» named after the Hero of the Soviet Union V.N.Kirmanovich work at various enterprises of JSC «Savushkin Product».
The «Adrenaline» construction team named after the Hero of the Soviet Union P.N. Buinevich and the «Altair» construction team named after the Hero of the Soviet Union I.S.Leonovich work at the facilities of the OJSC «Polesyezhilstroy».
Also, the university has created and operates service teams that work with enrollees and take part in the organization and support of the 2023 admission campaign.
This year the Belarusian student movement is celebrating its 60th anniversary and it is the most popular form of youth employment.
In order to get into the student brigade, you need to contact the primary organization of the Belarusian Republican Youth Union at the university. Not difficult. But it is possible only if there are no academic backlogs and the examination period is closed on time. After all, any work is not only about money, but also about responsibility.
