On September 2, 2023, the «Festival of Science-2023» was held at the Central Botanical Garden of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus. Brest State Technical University took part in the festival at two venues at once: «100 Innovations of Young Scientists» and «University of the Future».
On the site «100 Innovations of Young Scientists» the «Luna» lamp made of fiber-reinforced concrete with RGB backlight is presented, which is a decorative element of lighting for outdoors and indoors, a force plate with biocontrol for support reaction — a software and hardware complex for testing human balance functions: visual analyzer, vestibular apparatus and other systems directly or indirectly related to maintaining balance. The stabilometric complex includes a hardware module for dynamic registration of biometric data and a smartphone program for processing and visualizing them. The hybrid heating radiators are also represented at the festival, which are an additional (backup) heating system of for non-heating periods and citizens in a difficult social situation.
The «Mirosha» guide robot entertained visitors at the «University of the Future» site, the BrSTU young scientists council held master classes in the manufacture of small-piece decorative elements from concrete and the manufacture of wire products.
