On September 8, 2023, the grand opening of the branch of the Department of Electronic Computers and Systems of the Brest State Technical University took place on the basis of the Open Joint Stock Company «Tsvetotron» of the INTEGRAL holding.
One of the main tasks of the branch is to create the necessary conditions for organizing the educational process for training engineers (bachelors) and masters in the specialties “Industrial Electronics” and “Electronic Systems and Technologies”.
At the opening ceremony, the Rector of the university, Sergei Antonovich Kasperovich, expressed confidence that the activities of the branch will contribute to better adaptation of undergraduates and master’s students to specific production conditions in the learning process, and acquisition of primary working skills in teams. Also, the opening of the branch will allow the organization of research work of undergraduates and master’s students to be brought to a new level, and will create conditions for performing dissertation research in the areas of core activity of Tsvetotron OJSC and the INTEGRAL holding.
Acting Director — Deputy Director for Commercial Issues of Tsvetotron OJSC Vasily Valentinovich Kolodich, addressing those present, noted that the opening of the branch will significantly facilitate the process of organizing and conducting joint scientific research, preparing joint scientific projects, as well as introducing the results of research and development as in production and in the educational process.
Among the guests of honor at the ceremony were also present the First Deputy Head of the Administration of the Moskovsky District of Brest Sergei Vitalievich Krachko, Deputy General Director for Personnel and Ideological Work of Integral OJSC Olga Nikolaevna Soldatenko, Deputy Director for Production of Tsvetotron OJSC Dmitry Aleksandrovich Sadovnikov, veteran Integral OJSC, formerl director of Tsvetotron OJSC, Viktor Anatolyevich Podolsky. The branch was headed by Viktor Vyacheslavovich Buslyuk, associate professor of the Department of Electronic Computers and Systems of BrSTU.
In a solemn atmosphere as part of the ceremony, the Rector of the university Kasperovich S.A. presented an honorary doctorate diploma from Brest State Technical University to the chief specialist of Integral JSC, corresponding member of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus, Doctor of Technical Sciences, Professor Viktor Andreevich Emelyanov for his significant contribution to the scientific development of BrSTU in the priority area of microelectronic technologies.
