The delegation of the Grodnooblgaz Unitary Enterprise visited the Brest State Technical University in order to study the experience of organizing and working with engineering classes.
In October 2023, BrSTU together with the Brestoblgaz Unitary Enterprise two engineering classes were created and are being successfully operated now. As part of the interaction program, classes are held at the Department of Heat, Gas Supply and Ventilation of BrSTU or on the territory of a unitary enterprise. During the academic year, students at school study exact disciplines at an advanced level, and in the laboratories of BrSTU they study modern energy-saving equipment, take part in practical tasks on the installation and operation of heating, water supply and ventilation systems.
Deputy General Director for Ideological Work of Grodnooblgaz Unitary Enterprise Matveyonok Elena Valentinovna, Head of the Personnel Sector of the Department of Legal and Personnel Work Diana Vladimirovna Maltseva and Deputy General Director for Ideological Work, Social and General Issues of Grodnooblgaz Unitary Enterprise Borovenko Vladimir Veniaminovich met with the Head of the Department of Heat and Gas Supply and Ventilation of BrGTU Novoseltsev Vladimir Gennadievich, discussed the mechanisms and effectiveness of the functioning of engineering classes. During the meeting, the guests got acquainted with the logistics of the Heating, Ventilation, Air Conditioning and Refrigeration, Gas Supply, Heat Supply laboratories and the Hertz heating laboratory.
It is worth noting that in the 2023/2024 academic year, 8 specialized engineering groups were created on the basis of BrSTU in institutions of general secondary education in the city of Brest and the Brest region.
