On October 31, 2023, at the Brest State Technical University, an extramural session of the Leninsky District Court of Brest was held on a criminal case in part 1 of Art. 328 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Belarus related to illegal drug trafficking.
During the trial, the guilt of the accused resident of the city of Brest in the manufacture and storage of narcotic drugs for subsequent use was established and fully proven. The accused citizen fully admitted his guilt and repented of the crime committed. The court, taking into account the family status of the accused and positive characteristics from his place of work, decided not to send this citizen to prison, but limited himself to a reduced sentence.
After the court hearing, the students had a conversation with the Deputy Prosecutor of the city of Brest, Alexander Anatolyevich Vorobey, who told those present about various types of offenses and the criminal liability associated with them. Particular emphasis was placed on crimes on the Internet and domestic crimes related to the use of alcohol and drugs.
