On November 16, the VI International Scientific and Technical Conference “New Technologies and Materials, Production Automation” was held at the Brest State Technical University on the basis of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering.
Leading experts in the field of mechanical engineering from the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and Tajikistan took part in the conference.
Nikolai Nikolaevich Shalobyta, Vice-Rector for Research at BrSTU, and Sergei Romanovich Onysko, Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, addressed the conference participants with a welcoming speech.
This event was held in close cooperation with scientists from state scientific institutions: “Institute of Technical Acoustics of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”, “Physical and Technical Institute of the National Academy of Sciences of Belarus”, Belarusian National Technical University, Polotsk State University, Tambov State Technical University, Samara University (Russian Federation ), as well as the State Energy Institute of Turkmenistan.
During the conference, issues of new developments in the field of reliability and improvement of machine designs, innovative technologies in mechanical engineering were raised. Scientists and young researchers presented the results of ongoing research in the field of surface engineering, discussed current problems of design and production automation.
The conference participants expressed their gratitude to the conference organizers for the opportunity to meet and discuss topics that concern them in a broad international format.
As a result of the conference, agreements were reached to continue active cooperation between mechanical engineering scientists from BrSTU and universities of the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation and Tajikistan.
