Students meet with justice authorities

On November 20, at the Brest State Technical University, as part of outreach and awareness-raising work on crime prevention among students, a meeting of students with the Deputy Chairman of the regional court, Andrei Leonidovich Kurisyuk, was held.
During the preventive conversation, students were warned about the inadmissibility of committing offenses and crimes, and were informed about the responsibility for committing hooliganism, fraud, extortion, and crimes using computer technology. The Deputy Chairman emphasized the need for information security and careful attention to personal data. Andrei Leonidovich told where you can seek assistance, what responsibility a minor offender bears.
At the meeting, attention was paid to the relationship between adults and minors in social conditions, responsibility for the storage and use of narcotic and psychotropic drugs, responsibility for appearing in a public place while intoxicated. The further conversation continued in the format of an “open dialogue”, during which students could ask the Deputy Chairman questions.
