On December 12, 2023, a career guidance event was held at the Brest State Technical University for students of engineering classes at secondary school No. 16 in Pinsk and secondary school No. 2 in Luninets.
During the visit, schoolchildren were given a unique opportunity to get acquainted with the faculties, specialties and majors, admission conditions and study opportunities, and the university infrastructure.
For a more detailed acquaintance with the specialties, various educational events were organized for schoolchildren.
At the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering, the young people visited the laboratories of the Department of Applied Mechanics, Mechanical Engineering and Automation of Technological Processes and Production, the Department of Mechanical Engineering and Automobile Operation.
Lectures on building materials science, architecture and architectural design were organized for students at the Departments of the Civil Engineering Faculty. The schoolchildren were also able to take part in practical classes on construction materials science and computer modeling.
