As part of the implementation of a joint educational program for training specialists with general higher education in the specialty “Mechanical Engineering Technology”, senior lecturer of the Department of Intercultural Communications and Linguistic Disciplines of BrSTU Oksana Viktorovna Shcherba taught Russian as a foreign language for 4 months at Xinxiang University (People’s Republic of China).
In the process of teaching, Oksana Viktorovna was able to improve new ideas in the field of education, generalize management experience through the introduction of high-quality educational resources, noting a favorable atmosphere for teaching and international cooperation.
The leadership of the Xinxiang Institute organized several excursions for foreign specialists. In their free time, teachers were able to visit cultural events, museums, exhibitions, festivals and other events that allowed them to better understand and experience Chinese culture. They took part in various events dedicated to Chinese national holidays.
Joint educational programs are an important factor for improving the qualifications of teaching staff. Students and teachers gained knowledge, invaluable experience of intercultural exchange and pleasure from communication.
