On January 22, 2024, the educational stage of the republic-wide youth innovation project “100 ideas for Belarus” took place at the Brest State Technical University, in which the young people of the Brest region presented projects aimed at the social and economic development of their region and country.
The educational project was opened by the Chairman of the Expert Commission, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Gennadievich Bakhanovich, addressing the participants with welcoming words.
The Expert Commission included the Rector of BrSTU Sergey Antonovich Kasperovich; Rector of BrSU named after. A.S. Pushkin Yuri Petrovich Golubev; Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists of the Ministry of Education of the Republic of Belarus Anastasia Igorevna Kiselevich.
Participants from four universities of the Brest region presented 10 innovative projects for consideration by a competent jury in the categories: “Society and Social Sphere”, “Best Business Idea”, “Agro-Industrial Technologies and Farming”.
The young people talked about the implementation stages of their projects, the tools used in project activities, and interaction with the parties involved in the project. At the end, students received valuable advice and recommendations on working with projects and finding solutions for their implementation.
Summarizing the results of the presentations, First Deputy Minister of Education of the Republic of Belarus Bakhanovich A.G. praised the projects, noting that they are truly practice-oriented, aimed at solving current problems the state is facing. The jury decided to give all participants a chance to present their projects at the republic-wide competition.
As part of his visit to BrSTU, Alexander Gennadievich Bakhanovich visited research laboratories and got acquainted with the prospects for the creation and development of the Competence Center “Industrial Robotics and Digital Engineering”.
Chairman of the Council of Young Scientists Kiselevich A.I. conducted a training seminar with the participants of the youth competition “Preparation for the presentation and project defense: 100 ideas of Belarus.”
