BrSTU and the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations signed a cooperation agreement

On February 9, 2024, Brest State Technical University and the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations signed a cooperation agreement.
The Rector of BrSTU Kasperovich Sergey Antonovich and the Head of the Department Rudolf Valery Stanislavovich signed the document and thus confirmed their intentions to carry out targeted joint work to identify and support talented youth, to create a culture of life safety among young people, as well as research activities aimed at preventing emergency situations.
The upcoming events planned under the agreement are diploma and course projects aimed at actually filling and improving the software of the educational security center in Brest. Joint scientific research in the field of consequences and prevention of emergency situations is also envisaged. These studies can be both in the field of information technology and in the field of structural stability and the creation of safe objects.
Brest State Technical University interacted with the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in certain areas before. The signed agreement will open up new opportunities in the field of youth policy, student involvement in movements related to life safety, as well as in information and propaganda work.
In a solemn ceremony, the Head of the Brest Regional Department of the Ministry of Emergency Situations, Rudolf V.S. presented to the Rector of BrSTU Kasperovich S.A. badge of the Ministry of Emergency Situations “For promoting life safety”.
