On February 13, a meeting of the headquarters of the young voter was held in the assembly hall of the Brest State Technical University at the Faculty of Construction.
The Head of the headquarters of the young voter, the Head of the headquarters of labor affairs of BrSTU Natalya Aleksandrovna Borsuk, in the format of an open dialogue, reviewed and discussed issues related to the particularities and innovations of the 2024 election campaign. Important technical, substantive, regulatory and legal aspects of the upcoming Unified Voting Day were outlined. Prospective young voters were briefed on the 2024 elections, focusing on key points such as the importance of elections to society, knowledge of election procedures, early voting, documentation rules, the importance of active voter participation in voting and much more.
This event is aimed at student participation in electoral processes as one of the factors of civic and patriotic education in modern conditions. At the same time, attention was focused on the fact that both active participation in elections and the exercise of public control require from young people a sufficient degree of morality, responsibility, the formation of political consciousness and culture, and an understanding of the seriousness of such processes that are truly fateful for the entire Belarusian society.
