On February 14, on the campus of Brest State Technical University, a meeting with students regarding the Unified Voting Day was held in the format of an open dialogue.
Dean of the Faculty of Economics Victoria Vasilievna Zazerskaya and Dean of the Faculty of Mechanical Engineering Sergei Romanovich Onysko reviewed and discussed issues related to the particulaities and innovations of the 2024 election campaign. During the meeting it was said that elections are especially significant in the current situation, when maximum unity of society is necessary.
The conduct of the main electoral procedures was particularized, as well as possible methods of voting, innovations and features of the 2024 election campaign. Instruction were given about who has the right to elect and be elected, as well as what the work of a deputy consists of. Students received information about the importance of developing a patriotic civic position, about increasing the role of young people in solving various life issues, including the importance of voting.
This event is aimed at explaining to young voters that elections shape social, political and economic maturity, as well as responsibility not only for themselves, but also for the future of the country.
