On February 21, the Brest State Technical University held a seminar with the trade union activists of the primary trade union organization of students on the topic “The role of youth in political campaigns.”
The invited guest was the Deputy Chairman of the Brest regional branch of the trade union, Alexandra Aleksandrovna Drapei.
The main topic of the seminar was information about the upcoming elections, participation in the Unified Voting Day, as well as a conversation about certain innovations in the electoral legislation. The Deputy Chairman told those present about the number of ballots, the organization of early voting and the documents that will be required to be presented at the polling station. She warned about the prohibition of taking photos and videos of a completed ballot and taking it outside the polling station.
“By choosing together we can do a lot: work fruitfully, develop and improve, be proud of the goals achieved, enjoy a peaceful life, raise and educate our children, instill in them true, moral and spiritual values, create universal benefits and the future of our country, improve the standard of living, preserve and increase traditions, think constructively, live with dignity and have a good rest” noted Drapey A.A.
During the event, trade union activists were also awarded certificates of the primary trade union organization.
At the end of the event, students received answers to their questions.
