In order to learn methods of protection and actions in emergency situations, students of the Brest State Technical University of the Faculty of Electronic Information Systems visited the Educational Security Center of the Ministry of Emergency Situations in Brest.
During the excursion, students were shown the work of interactive platforms, the exhibitions of which were built using modern information technologies, the digital environment, as well as augmented virtual reality. Thanks to modern technology, students were able to immerse themselves in an environment that simulated an emergency situation as closely as possible.
They were reminded of the rules for safe behavior at home, actions in case of fire and the rules for using primary fire extinguishing equipment. They paid close attention to seasonal dangers and told how not to become “hostage” to them. Theoretical knowledge was consolidated in practice by testing interactive platforms.
In addition, students were reminded of criminal and administrative liability for committing illegal actions.
